We are very excited to announce that Antrim's 2011-12 Diamond Jubilee benefit season is now officially open!! For those groups who have had a benefit with us in the past at the Antrim Playhouse, I hope you will join us again this upcoming season for another great opportunity to raise money for your organization (and for a great night of entertainment too)!
For those groups that haven’t yet booked a benefit with us, we offer the rental of our 100-seat theatre and a private benefit performance of any show in our upcoming 2011-12 season. You choose the date (first come-first served basis), you choose the ticket price and Antrim takes care of the rest. Depending on how many seats you sell and the ticket price you choose, you can raise thousands of dollars for your organization as many other groups have done in the past.
Antrim’s theatre rental fees start at $1,000 for weeknights and $1,100 for Saturday afternoons or Sunday nights (for non-musicals) and $1,300 for weeknights and $1,500 for Saturday afternoon and Sunday night for musicals. Rates for musicals are higher due to the higher budgets associated with those shows. Traditionally, groups choose either a Thursday or Sunday evening for their benefits, however, Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons are also available. Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons are not available. Our theatre is air-conditioned, handicap accessible, and our spacious (newly-renovated!) downstairs lounge is the perfect size for serving refreshments at intermission. We also provide the playbills for the show. Smaller groups can share a benefit with another group to help reduce costs.
Wednesday and Thursday curtain times are 8PM. The theater will be available to you beginning at 6:30PM to allow you time to set up. Saturday afternoon curtain times are 2PM and the theater is available to you beginning at 12:30PM. Sunday curtains are 7PM with the theater available to you at 5:30PM.
I have included below more specifics on Antrim’s exciting upcoming 2011-2012 Diamond Jubilee season. We are offering comedies, dramas, thrillers and musicals. There is truly something for everybody.
As many of you know, these dates can go quickly and early so don’t delay, inquire today! Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer. You can also feel free to call me anytime with questions at 845-664-0689.
